Maaroc Pte Ltd, Ascendia’s contractual and commercial partner and a leading consultancy firm in Singapore specializes in contract management and dispute resolution for the construction industry.

Maaroc Pte Ltd iswidely involved the delivery of a series of training workshops for the project personnel of various public and private sector organizations involved in the implementation of infrastructure projects funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank (WB) in the above-mentioned countries. Our efforts aimed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of the project personnel in the practical use of the FIDIC Construction Contracts, which are the most widely used standard forms of contracts for international construction projects.

  • Training design: We designed the training workshops, with a comprehensive and interactive approach, covering the key aspects of the FIDIC Construction Contracts, such as the general conditions, the particular conditions, the roles and responsibilities of the parties, the payment and variation procedures, the claims and disputes resolution mechanisms, and the best practices and lessons learned. We also customized the training workshops to suit the specific needs and contexts of the different countries and projects.
  • Training delivery: We delivered the training workshops, with a team of qualified and experienced trainers, who have extensive expertise and exposure in the FIDIC Construction Contracts and the construction industry. We used a variety of methods and techniques, such as lectures, case studies, exercises, quizzes, and discussions, to engage and motivate the participants and to ensure effective learning outcomes. We also provided the training materials, such as the manuals, the slides, the handouts, and the certificates.
  • Training evaluation: Our experts evaluated the training workshops, with a systematic and rigorous approach, using the Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation, which measures the four levels of training effectiveness, namely the reaction, the learning, the behavior, and the results. We collected and analyzed the feedback and data from the participants, the trainers, the clients, and the stakeholders, using various tools and instruments, such as the questionnaires, the tests, the interviews, and the surveys.
Till date we have completed with a total of 16 training workshops conducted, reaching a total of 320 participants from 80 organizations.
